I call on the Commonwealth government to adequately fund the Australian Human Rights Commission to address a growing concern of homophobia towards LGBTIQ+ communities.
This concern arises from reported incidents of unprovoked attacks on gay and bisexual men. These hate-motivated attacks and planned ambushes have no place in modern Australia.
